“Lauren Boebert Doesn’t Want to Lose the House”
After serving a district on the west slope of Colorado, Rep. Boebert is up for reelection but has moved to a more conservative district on the eastern part of the state. Her closest opponent in the polls, Jerry Sonnenberg, is a Weld county local and rancher.
Assigned by The Washington Post, I spent time making portraits of both Rep. Boebert and Jerry Sonnenberg and then attended the Republican event ‘Lincoln Days’ where the two candidates made an appearance.
